Burke graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in business and a minor in electrical engineering.
He took his first corporate job as a field sales rep for Texas Instruments selling electronic components. Besides working in sales and management for other high-tech companies, Burke's career also includes a position with The Sharper Image Catalog as Electronics Buyer and catalog copywriter.
Overall, Burke's marketing & management experience spans 40+ years.
With an extensive background in sales, marketing and management, Burke brings a very practical approach to everything he does.
Since 1988, when BizPlanBuilder took off, Business Power Tools has introduced a dozen business development apps and templates, and now they are available in cloud-based versions managed on the web with a unique dashboard concept.
Burke was elected to the White House Conference on Small Business and was also nominated for Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year.”
Several of his ground-breaking business concepts have even been documented as case-studies for MBA students.
